Mark has been faithful serving the Lord in Russia since March of 1994, with a primary focus on special projects. They encompass the purchase and distribution of Christian literature in partnership with local churches, as well as ministering to children in orphanages, youth prisons and churches. Other projects include annual summer and winter children’s camps, Christmas gift parcels to orphans and Sunday school children as well as pastor and missionary support of Russian nationals. Mark is enthusiastic about the continuing work the Lord has in store; to respond, share, and disciple the spiritually hungry with the hope of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Antonye began teaching Bible studies in his home in 1988. Once married he and his wife Suzanne moved to Chico, CA where he served leading worship and a college Bible study for three years. In 1993 the Holydes moved to Cayucos, CA where Shoreline Calvary Chapel was born. God blessed the 17 ½ years of ministry on the Central Coast of California. Their family also grew with the birth of their first daughter and the adoption of their second daughter.   In the summer of 2009, Pastor Antonye had an opportunity to visit London. His heart was broken for the vast millions of people in the city without much of a witness for Christ.  Pastor Antonye, his wife Suzanne, Chante and Ruthie, went to North London, UK in May 2010 to plant Shoreline Calvary Chapel North London.  The Holydes feel privileged to serve the Lord by serving the people He puts before them – first in the U.S. and now in the U.K.

Mark has been faithfully serving the Lord in Cambodia since 2002 where he met and married Sopheaktra in 2005. Mark’s early ministry was language and culture study, along with serving with the Evangelical Fellowship of Cambodia Youth Commission.  International Teams and the EFC Youth Commission partnered together to launch the Kampong Cham Youth Ministry Partnership, for which he provided leadership from 2005 to 2008.  During that time, Mark also served in leadership roles for International Teams in Cambodia.  In 2009 Mark was offered the opportunity to consider a leadership role with FH (Food for the Hungry) Cambodia.  Mark became Country Director for FH in 2011. Mark loves teaching and is passionate about seeing the church become fully engaged in God’s mission.

2015 Update:

The Fenders have returned to the States for a season to seek the Lord's direction. Please pray for them as the Lord has recently added a new son to the family: Arunborey and as Mark seeks ministerial employment in the States.

We are a family of four living and serving Jesus Christ in Kisumu, Kenya since 2009. We love this country and the beautiful people here and love seeing God at work! In April of 2010 we helped establish Calvary Chapel Lakeside along with Pastor Stephen Otieno and his wife Maureen. We continue to see God at work as many have come to know Christ as Savior and we are seeing God change lives. Our vision is to bring God glory – by assisting Kenyan nationals in establishing Biblically sound churches – through the preaching of the Gospel, Discipleship Training, and leadership development.

2015 Update:

The Pottnegers have returned to the States to serve Jesus on the East Coast. Please keep them in prayer as they go through the transition of reentry and getting settled in American culture.
